2010 Vintage, Coastal Region, South Africa. A white grape varietal from the Loire Valley, France that found its way to South Africa in the mid 1600's. This wine is produced from 100% free run juice. fermented in steel tanks, then aged on its lees for 1 1/2 months to add a rich mouth-feel and minerality.
- Nose: Melon, guava and some green notes.
- Mouth: Medium body crisp and bold sweet citrus with papaya backed by golden delicious apple, followed by refreshing acidity and wet stone minerality.
- Finish: Lingering tropical fruit with tangy zest resting on the rear palate.
- Pairing: A food wine that goes well with most poultry, fish and salad dishes. Or a refreshing apertif for a hot summer afternoon. Serve well chilled.!
